Oppositionist Vladimir Kara-Murza, arrested in the case of disseminating false information regarding the Russian Armed Forces (included in the register of individuals-foreign agents), is in a temporary detention center in a triple cell and does not complain regarding the conditions of his detention, reports RBC.
The publication was told regarding this by the responsible secretary of the PMC of Moscow, Alexei Melnikov.
The human rights activist said that Kara-Murza was “in a detention center on Petrovka.” According to him, “there, of course, there are sometimes jambs, but in general this insulator is a four.”
On April 22, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested Kara-Murza because of fakes regarding the Russian army. On the same day, the Ministry of Justice included him in the register of individuals-foreign agents.
The oppositionist was taken into custody as part of a case initiated once morest him under the article “Public dissemination of knowingly false information regarding the use of the Russian Armed Forces.” It provides for punishment of up to 15 years in prison.
It follows from the materials of the case that on March 15, while in the parliament of the US state of Arizona, the politician “distributed deliberately false information under the guise of reliable reports” regarding the actions of the Russian military in Ukraine, thereby causing “significant harm” to the interests of the Russian Federation.
