Gangnam, who appeared on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’ broadcast on the 23rd, revealed the recent status of passing the naturalization test. When asked what his name was, he “I’m thinking regarding it now.” He said, “My mother is Mr. Kwon, so if I follow my mother’s last name, I will become a healthy man by pronunciation, Kwon Kang-nam. His wife’s last name is Lee, so he’s thinking too much regarding whether he should be Lee Gangnam.”

After hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon said, “Isn’t it already two years ago when I appeared on a variety show and showed the process of preparing for the naturalization test? So he’s been away for two years?” he asked. In response, Gangnam said, “I prepared it three years ago,” and “I took a total of 3 written notes and 2 interviews. If you fall at the end, you start over from the beginning. I have to go back to Japan and collect the documents,” he explained.
He continued, “When you enter the interview room, you have to sing as well and answer unexpected questions well.” When asked if he had ever failed an interview, Gangnam answered “yes”. When he wondered that Gangnam, where he might speak at a high level among foreigners, had fallen, Gangnam said, “There are a lot of questions such as ‘Where should I call in case of a terrorist attack other than 112’ and ‘Where to call if a water pipe breaks’. You have to memorize all these things,” he said, surprising.
Meanwhile, Japanese broadcaster Gangnam married former speed skater Lee Sang-hwa in 2019. He recently drew attention by announcing that he had passed the naturalization test and announced that he would change to Korean citizenship in June.
