Do we still need to present it? GTA 5, the great, the tireless, the powerful, has not yet said its last word. It has just been released in a new version on PS5 and Xbox Series, and even more recently in a boxed version: take advantage of it, its price is down sharply at E.Leclerc.
GTA 5, the blockbuster that crosses the ages, already in reduction on PS5 and Xbox Series
Grand Theft Auto V immediately established itself as a monument when it was first released in 2013. And like any good self-respecting monument, it ages only slightly and its longevity is unparalleled. Rockstar understood this well and following having published it on PC, then on PS4 and Xbox One, it was the turn of the PS5 and the Xbox Series to go to the pan. GTA 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series: 4K, 60FPS, raytracing… the next-gen at low cost
If you are lucky enough to own a PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series, then know that you will be able to enjoy a very nice version of GTA 5, retyped for the occasion directly by Rockstar. On the program, a technical overhaul with three modes offered: Fidelity mode (native 4K, ray-tracing, 30FPS), Performance mode (4K upscaled, 60FPS) and Performance RT mode (4K upscaled, 60FPS and optimized ray-tracing).
The game also offers denser textures – especially in terms of vegetation – for even more realistic environments; human and road traffic is also more condensed to bring more life to Los Santos and its surroundings. Also note reduced loading times thanks to the SSD of the consolesallowing you to save a lot of time at startup or during transitions between characters.
Finally, on PS5, GTA 5 relies on DualSense features such as haptic feedback or adaptive triggers : the developers have done a very good job on this side, allowing a reinforced immersion. Ah, and last detail: you can transfer your PS4/Xbox One save to PS5 and Xbox Series!
Short, GTA 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series is not transformed either – the word would be strong – but very clearly tweaked and sublimated further. When we know that GTA Online is still planned to last for years, this new version is undoubtedly to be prioritized among those existing on home consoles. Provided you don’t ruin yourself, of course.
