On the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Keigo Maki, Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie), a variety of illustrations were released to celebrate the airing of the first episode of the series. The first was made by the animator Nomowho participated in the production of the episode.

The freelance illustratorM. Tokotsu (@mm_pentab)” also highlighted recently following publishing a fan-art that mixes the franchises of Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san, Aharen-san wa Hakarenai y SPY x FAMILYwhose anime adaptations are currently on air.
The series has been broadcast since April 9 in Japan and is confirmed with twelve episodes, while the platform Crunchyroll will handle distribution in the West. For her part, Maki started publishing this manga through her Twitter account under the title Kawaii dake ja Nai Onnanokoand subsequently began publishing it through the service Magazine Pocket from the publisher Kodansha in February 2019.

Izumi is a high school student whose life is full of misfortunes. Since he was young, he always came home with injuries.
