Arsenal beat Manchester United and advanced to fourth place once more, to enhance their chances of qualifying for the Champions League.
Arsenal defeated Manchester United in the 34th round of the English Premier League, today, Saturday. Arsenal won 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal advanced early in the match through Nuno Tavares in the 3rd minute, and Bukayo Saka added Arsenal’s second goal (32nd), following which Ronaldo reduced the difference in favor of Manchester United (34th minute).
In the second half, Manchester United tried to equalize, as Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty, before Xhaka scored Arsenal’s third goal.

With this victory, Arsenal raised the ceiling of its ambitions to reach the Champions League, and reached its 60th point in fourth place, 3 points behind its closest rivals, Tottenham, and each of them has a game in hand.
Manchester United’s balance froze at 54 points in sixth place, moving away from the top four positions.
