A husband’s abuse of his wife and the mother of his eight children caused her to lose her sight and suffer fractures in the head and skull, according to what her sister said.
In the details, the battered sister of Jeddah confirmed to “News 24“Her sister is in East Jeddah Hospital, and her health condition is critical as a result of the violence she was subjected to from her husband, explaining that her sister has lost her sight in her right eye, and she suffers from fractures in the back, skull, head, nose and ribs.
She added that her abuser was not satisfied with that, but rather practiced the most horrific forms of violence once morest her, as he was enjoying crime in her, disfiguring her face, as well as cutting off her tongue and finger, which may be amputated as a result of keeping her bleeding for days at home, disguised as what he did.
She pointed out that her sister was subjected to violence in the middle of Ramadan in her home and continued with her injuries for five days, trying to cover up what he did, until a family member informed the police and the ambulance, who came to take her to the hospital amid security protection.
She noted that her sister’s husband during the last four months changed significantly and became more violent, as he tied her two months ago and shaved her head and eyebrows, and when she tried to escape from him to her family home, he threatened her to kill one of her sons.
The Public Prosecutor had issued an order to arrest a person, following a report received by the security authorities from a hospital in Jeddah regarding the arrival of a woman, who was subjected to a criminal assault using a sharp object.
