Kiki Fatmala revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer since late last year. Kiki admitted, it made her life change instantly.
“November 19, 2021, is the day that everything changes. It was the day that I was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer,” said Kiki, quoted from the @qq_fatmala account, Friday (22/4/22).
Since getting the diagnosis, many things have happened in Kiki Fatmala’s life. pesinetron Guidance Door admits that her life felt like it was split in two, following she had cancer and before finding out that she had the disease.
To fight this disease, Kiki Fatmala went to Singapore for treatment, Mother. In his upload, he shows the results of the first examination he did. Seen cancer cells have lodged in the lungs of the woman born in 1969. He also had to undergo the first biopsy on November 23, 2021.
Kiki Fatmala also shared a portrait while in the ambulance. According to Kiki, it was the first time she had to ride the vehicle.
“Then December 2, 2021, is the first day of SABR treatment (stereotactic ablative radiotherapy),” said Kiki Fatmala.
The treatment is radiation therapy that is targeted at cancer cells to prevent the cells from spreading to surrounding organs. In addition, Kiki is also required to undergo a number of chemotherapy sessions, as well as a PET Scan.
After undergoing chemotherapy 5 times, Kiki Fatmala was also required to receive a blood transfusion. Kiki admitted, it was the first time she got a blood transfusion.
In the upload, Kiki Fatmala said that she had undergone chemotherapy sessions six times. Even though it has only happened since the end of 2021, Kiki feels that she has come a long way.
“This is a journey that shows that magic is real when we enjoy and appreciate every moment in life,” said Kiki.
