Kun Agüero will be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame | The Argentine ex-scorer will join the 2022 litter along with seven other stars

Manchester City legend Sergio “Kun” Aguero will be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame this yearannounced this Thursday the authorities of that British organization.

Agüero, 33, retired from professional activity last December due to a heart problem, integrates the 2022 litter along with seven other former players: Patrick Vieira, Wayne Rooney, Ian Wright, Peter Schmeichel, Paulo Scholes, Didier Drogba and Vicent Kompany, his former partner in the golden age of City.

“Many thanks to the Premier League for this recognition, which makes me proud. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame gives me a real perspective on the path that brought me here. I am excited and I want to share this honor with my club, Manchester City, and all my teammates,” Agüero thanked on his Twitter account.

“Being part of the Hall of Fame makes me very happy for myself and my family. My son will be able to say that it is something that his father achieved. I loved playing for Manchester City and the memories of winning the league five times and scoring the most important goal of my career”, concluded who will be the first Argentine to enter that circle of privilege.
