G.Skill continues to expand its DDR5 memory range with the announcement of a new Trident Z5 RGB kit. Aiming for the high end, it is counting on a frequency of 6600 MHz and CL34 timings.

This kit consists of two 16 GB modules for a total capacity of 32 GB. We find memory modules from the Trident Z5 RGB series. The manufacturer specifies that this is a solution for Intel’s latest platform, Alder Lake-S. In detail G.SKill evokes the Core processors of 12^th generation operated through a DDR5 compatible Z690 motherboard. Each module benefits from an aluminum heat sink sandwiching its PCB. It is topped by an RGB bar.

To return to this new kit, we are entitled to DDR5 capable of operating at 6600 MHz under timings of 34-40-40-105. Here is a screenshot showing the validation of this kit with a Core i7-12700K mounted on an ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Hero motherboard.

Availability is promised for the month of May but we do not have a precise date. The press release does not specify any price.
