Fifi Abdo’s words came during her talk regarding the artist Samir Sabry’s illness, where she said, “I took the soil like that of Abdel Halim when I went to bury my father, so he buried him in the cemetery of the family, so there was no roof.
And she continued, “See, I think of those who have killed him, that he is in death and his account is working, this is the only truth. Do not tell me in the eyes that it may be very scary. Our Lord is capable of everything, but death will come to a certain age, and with his consent, this is the truth.”
Fifi Abdo gets excited regarding Basma Wahba
On the other hand, Fifi Abdo was agitated during the meeting because of one of the media’s questions, Basma Wahba, and asked to end the episode, following showing part of a previous interview she had with Iraqi broadcaster Nizar Al-Faris, during which she talked regarding her grave, and her refusal to put the title of a dancer on top of the grave.
Basma Wahba said that the announcer’s question was intended to insult Fifi Abdo, so the latter got angry, saying: “Please don’t let anyone tell me this.”
Fifi Abdo added: “I don’t know how to convey to him the sentence that he wants. He does not understand our system, with evidence that I told him.”
She refused to answer Basma Wahba’s question regarding writing the title “The Dancer” on her grave, saying: “We will sit and talk regarding Malush’s words, why is it necessary? I hate responding to what is not necessary.”
And Fifi Abdo continued: “The question did not bother me. I am coming to work with you for a meeting, I am not coming to see you. This is said and this is work. I love this at all. We can close the program on this and thank you.”
