Florida may withdraw self-government from Disney World after “Don’t Say Gay” criticism – USA

Orlando (Florida)/Burbank (California) – The Disney World amusement park in Orlando, Florida, is expected to lose its right to self-government following criticism of a law on school education regarding sexual orientation and gender identity. Florida’s legislature voted Thursday to revoke entertainment giant Disney’s privileges. The parliamentarians thus complied with a wish from conservative governor Ron DeSantis, who is in an open dispute with Disney.
