Today, Thursday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held an extensive meeting with a group of journalists and media professionals, following his inspection tour of Toshka region at dawn today.
Ambassador Bassam Radi, official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the meeting witnessed an open dialogue in which the President listened to inquiries and concerns regarding the most important internal and external issues of public opinion within the framework of several main axes, foremost of which is the economic repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis on Egypt, and its repercussions on the increase in Prices, and the state’s strategy to deal with these repercussions, as well as other internal challenges such as efforts to combat terrorism and extremist ideology, preserve national identity, and how to deal with media and drama in this context.
The dialogue also touched on the population issue and its various dimensions and its negative impact on the development process, as well as the state’s strategy for economic reform, as well as a number of major national projects, especially the initiative of a decent life for the development of Egyptian rural villages.
