Symptoms of the BA.2 subvariant

To start, be aware that some symptoms are more common than others with the BA.2 subvariant. This includes runny nose, headaches and sneezing. Similar to those of the common cold, these symptoms can also be accompanied by a cough, hoarseness or even a sore throat.

The infection can also be associated with joint pain, chills or fever. In the lists of most reported symptoms in the UK, we also find eye pain, dizziness, body aches, swollen glands or chest pain.
