[Sing Tao Daily Report]A woman in Tsing Yi fell to her death. At 1:45 p.m., the police received a report that a woman attempted to jump off the building at On Hoi Building, Cheung On Village, Tsing Yi.
Police officers and rescuers arrived, but the female victim jumped down before the police officers arrived and fell to the ground opposite the building, dying. Paramedics rescued the woman, but following examination, it was confirmed that the victim had died on the spot. The police then covered the body of the deceased with tents.
Police are investigating the incident, and it is initially believed that the female deceased was regarding 20 to 30 years old. The two family members of the deceased were notified and present at the scene. Police are investigating why the woman fell from the building.
