Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the military on the successful test of the missile, saying that it was “unparalleled in the world”, noting that it would make enemies think before attacking. Russiaaccording to the agency “Sputnik”.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed in a statement that the missile was successfully launched from a tunnel at the “Plesetsk” cosmodrome in the northern Arkhangelsk province, noting that all the objectives set during the test launch were achieved.
Unique Specifications
The ministry pointed out that the training warheads reached a specific area in the “Kura” camp on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the far east of the country, noting that this is the first launch during the “Sarmat” test program.
She also stressed that the new missile has “unique specifications that allow it to penetrate all current and future missile defense systems,” noting that “Sarmat” is the most powerful and longest-range missile in the world and “will significantly enhance the combat capabilities of the Russian strategic nuclear forces.”

Long-term
In March, Moscow confirmed that it had used the Kinzhal missile once morest targets in Ukraine for the first time.
The Sarmat missile, which weighs more than 200 tons, is supposed to outperform the Vojvoda missile, which has a range of 11,000 km.
