A curious theft occurs in Winterthur ZH on Sunday night. The Winterthur city police arrested three young people (13, 14 and 15) who had previously stolen a van. The city police wrote in a statement.
Shortly following midnight, the city police received a report that a group of young people were doing laps in a parking lot with an allegedly stolen van. On site, the deployed patrol was able to stop the vehicle and arrest two young Swiss people aged 13 and 15.
Now the juvenile attorney’s office is waiting
Another person involved, a 14-year-old Swiss man, was arrested later that same night. How the teenagers got the key to the van is the subject of an ongoing investigation.
The young people will have to answer to the youth prosecutor. (zis)
