Windows 11, Microsoft is already talking about Sun Valley 3, what is it?

For the past few months, Windows 11 has been at the heart of Microsoft’s communication. The operating system is on all fronts while several new features are planned.

However, this file requires time. The giant proceeds step by step because the changes affecting the Windows environment have important consequences in view of its popularity. Like Windows 10, Windows 11 will benefit from feature updates. These will be “premium” appointments with new features, adjustments and optimizations.

The first feature update is planned for this year with the arrival of Windows 11 22H2. This development is also known as Sun Valley 2. For the moment there are no plans for a revolution. Microsoft is working on several adjustments, bug fixes and some new features.

In parallel, the sequel is already on track. We have already observed references to the “23H2” version in Microsoft documents. This second feature update is once once more mentioned by Redmond. During a Webcast the firm spoke of “Sun Valley 3” or “SV3”

Windows 11 Sun Valley 3, what’s new?

This discovery was made in notes PowerPoint. A screenshot posted on the web can read the following sentence “SV3 Refined Investments Next Step”. If the nature and details around this content are not known, it will be gradually offered through Windows 11 Previews in the second half of 2022.

This file will become clearer once 22H2 is offered through the BETA channel of the Windows Insider program. We will then have a clearer view of the plans around the next development branch of Windows 11.

For the moment it is too early to talk regarding new features planned with Sun Valley 3. Knowing that Microsoft keeps a name using “Sun Valley” it is likely that work around the shortcomings of the OS will continue. So don’t expect a revolution.
