The Chinese government had imposed a lockdown in the city as a precaution once morest the spread of the disease. Meanwhile, corona deaths have been confirmed. The Shanghai Health Committee said three deaths were confirmed Sunday in the city following the outbreak of the virus.
The dead were aged between 89 and 91. All three had been in treatment for a long time following the outbreak. The current deaths have caused great panic in China. Corona deaths were last reported in Jilin, northeastern China. Meanwhile, authorities have decided to tighten corona restrictions in Shanghai.
