U.S.Russia launches another missile strike on crane cities Authorities say six people have been killed in an attack in the western city of Lviv. Five missiles landed here. Missile strikes also hit the city of Nipropetrovsk.

Regional Governor Maxim Kozulin said Russia had launched a major offensive in Lviv. Six were killed and at least eight were injured.

Governor Valentine Resnishenko claimed that several missiles had been destroyed by Ukrainian defense forces, despite heavy attacks in Nipropetrovsk.

At the same time, Ukrainian President Vladimir Selensky reiterated that he would not surrender to Russia. He accused the Russian military of building torture chambers in the southern regions of the country and abducting people. Selensky negotiated with the International Monetary Fund for the reconstruction of post-war Ukraine.

Russia, meanwhile, has issued an ultimatum to Ukrainian troops to surrender from the port city of Mariupol. Russia has said the lives of surrendering soldiers will be safe. Russia estimates that only 2,500 Ukrainian troops will be stationed inside the Azovstal subway, Mariupol’s giant steel plant. He also warned that the defense would be destroyed if it continued.
