Russian army “capture of Mariupol” … ultimatum calling for Ukraine surrender

Ukrainian war breaking news.

The Russian army has sent an ultimatum to Ukraine demanding surrender, saying it has completely cleared the southern Mariupol region.

The Ukrainian side has warned that it will halt negotiations with Russia if it touches the resisting forces.

An apartment building that was charred and the exterior walls collapsed.

It was a place where people lived until not long ago, but now it is in ruins.

Bodies that might not be retrieved are horribly dumped on the streets.

Russia has sent an ultimatum to the besieged and desperately fighting Ukrainian forces in Mariupol, a strategic point connecting Crimea and the Eastern Donbas region.

“If you put down your weapon, I will save you.”

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the entire city of Mariupol had been completely wiped out, and that the remaining resistance forces were held in the Azoustal Works.

He said their only chance to save their lives was to surrender voluntarily.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the situation in Mariupol was serious and protested that Russian forces were trying to completely destroy the city.

“The situation in Mariupol is still very serious. Russia is trying to annihilate the people in Mariupol.”

He also warned that if it harms Ukrainian troops resisting in Mariupol, negotiations with Russia will be halted.

The Washington Post reported that Major General Vladimir Prolov, the deputy commander of the Russian army stationed near Mariupol, was killed.

It appears that more than eight Russian generals have been killed in this war so far.
