IPL 2022 | Livingston smashes (60 off 33 balls); Hyderabad set a target of 152 for victory

Punjab Kings beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by a huge margin in the IPL. After losing the toss and opting to bat, Punjab were all out for 151 in the allotted 20 overs. Liam Livingston was Punjab’s top scorer with 60 off 33 balls.

For Hyderabad, Umran Malik took four wickets and Bhuvneshwar Kumar three. Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to field. Shikhar Dhawan will replace the injured Mayank Agarwal in today’s match.

While Prabh Simran Singh (14), Shikhar Dhawan (8), Johnny Bairstow (12) and Jitesh Sharma (11) all disappointed, only Livingstone shone for Punjab. Livingston hit 60 off 33 balls with four sixes and five fours in the 19th over.

Shah Rukh Khan was the only batsman to score 26 off 28 balls, including two sixes and a four. The duo added 71 runs for the fifth wicket to take Punjab past 100. Odeon Smith (13), Rahul Chahar (0), Vaibhav Arora (0) and Arshdeep Singh (0) are the other outfielders.

Prabhasimran Singh replaces Mayank Agarwal in the Punjab team. The Sunrisers team landed today without making any changes.
