Northwest Zone Prosecutor confirms balance of six victims in armed attack

Juarez City.- The Northwest District Prosecutor’s Office reported that there are six victims of the massacre that occurred this Friday on the Janos-Ascención highway.

“Yes, there are six victims, two elements of the State Investigation Agency and four civilians,” said Óscar Márquez, spokesman for the Northern District Prosecutor’s Office.

He explained that the initial confusion was due to the fact that the bodies were burned and this made the work difficult, so this Sunday more details can be provided.

• Ford brand vehicle, white, with license plates from the state of Chihuahua, with multiple impacts from a firearm.

• Vehicle of the Chevrolet brand, black in color, with multiple firearm impacts, with a cylinder-type charger for a long weapon inside.

• Van-type vehicle, with specifications not yet established, completely burnt out.

• Vehicle overturned and burned in its entirety.

Meanwhile, the FGE maintains a joint operation made up of the different police corporations to find the whereregardings of those responsible for the violent act, it was reported.
