In the last hours, rumors spread widely regarding the kidnapping of the Egyptian artist Ahmed Al-Saadani in Lebanon, during the filming of the series “Baltoo Al-Ruh”, which deals with the crimes of the terrorist organization “ISIS”.
The company that produced the series denied, in a statement, that Al-Saadani had been kidnapped, and said: “After circulating news regarding the kidnapping of the Egyptian actor Ahmed Al-Saadani, at the junction of the town of Taiba, Al-Sabah Brothers Company confirms that Al-Saadani is fine, and the news is false; As the work team finished filming its scenes for the Ramadan series, “The Spirit Rising.”
The company added: We confirm that the kidnapper is an employee who works for us, and that producer Sadiq Al-Sabah is following up on the circumstances of the case in coordination with the security services.
The Lebanese newspaper, An-Nahar, published the details of the kidnapping, and said: Unidentified gunmen in a black four-wheel drive jeep intercepted a Kia car on the Rayak Baalbek highway, near the junction of the town of Taybeh, They hit her, before shooting at the car, and forced the driver to stop.
The events of the series “Baloo’ Al-Rouh” revolve around Menna Shalaby, who is deceived by her husband and lured from Egypt to a den of “ISIS” in Syria, and she tries to escape and ends up in a camp for escapees from the organization, and returning to Egypt becomes a distant dream.
