Already visible in the sky since the beginning of the month, Venus, Mars and Saturn will be joined by Jupiter on Sunday, to form a perfect alignment seen from the northern hemisphere. But you will have to get up early to make the most of the show.
The planets will be perfectly aligned this Easter Sunday, and that’s not a metaphor. However, it will be necessary to be early in the morning to be able to observe the perfect alignment between Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter.
According to FuturaSciences, the best time to observe this phenomenon, only visible from the northern hemisphere, will be from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. This bodes well for astronomy enthusiasts: the sky will be clear and the spectacle will be visible to the naked eye.
Note that Venus, Mars and Saturn have already been visible since the beginning of the month. Jupiter will join them as it leaves the horizon.
According to the european space agency (ESA), you will have to look west to enjoy the show, the climax of which is scheduled for April 23. Indeed, a new Alex Reed, the Moon, will also be placed in the axis of the four planets until the end of the month.
Another exceptional parade on June 24
Another exceptional parade will take place on June 24, since all the planets of the solar system will be aligned, from east to south. Unfortunately, Neptune and Uranus will not be visible to the naked eye, so you will need to equip yourself with astronomical glasses or a telescope to have a chance to see them.
