OstseeMan: Welcome to the Hawaii of the North on August 7, 2022

The OstseeMan is back, and it’s huge! After two cancellations due to the pandemic, the 20th edition in Glücksburg on August 7, 2022 will be a very special triathlon event. Not only that the popular and traditional triathlon event is finally taking place once more, the German triathlon elite will also be doing the honors in Glückburg next summer. As part of the OstseeMan 2022, the German championships will be held in the long-distance individual competition. Overall, the best female triathletes in Germany are sought on the king’s distance of triathlon in 15 age and elite categories.

One of the sporting highlights of the season will take place in the so-called “Hawaii of the North”, where swimming in the crystal-clear Baltic Sea, a cycling and running route on the coast and short distances between the disciplines characterize the event.

There are two distances to choose from at the OstseeMan: on the one hand the northernmost long distance in Germany and on the other hand the no less demanding half distance. Both the Flensburger Pilsener OstseeMan and the OM113 are considered a unique experience in triathlon. The swim distance is completed in the Baltic Sea, the bike and run course lead along the coast. Along the route and especially in the finish area, an enthusiastic audience supports and greets and celebrates all athletes accordingly. Thus the OstseeMan in the north offers a little bit of the feeling of Hawaii in its own way.

You can still benefit from the early bird discount until December 24th, 2021.
