A dramatic road accident occurred on Friday evening, shortly before 10 p.m., rue du Hawys 32 in Villers-devant-Orval. A car with three people on board veered off the road and collided with logs on the edge of the road. The impact was violent, the car then lay on its side.
The passenger of the vehicle died on the spot and the driver was airlifted to the University Hospital of Liège. The third person, more slightly injured, was transported to Libramont hospital. The prosecution has appointed an expert. The Florenville firefighters, with an officer from Arlon, and the medical helicopter from Bra-sur-Lienne intervened.
