TV coupler Marco Fritsche (46) gave his heart to August Wick (37). Last summer, the real estate manager and actor moved into his Appenzeller house to be the moderator. That Telezüri-Lifestyle Magazine visited the couple. Fritsche and Wick not only gave an insight into their home, but also into their relationship.
In an interview with Patricia Boser (54), the two revealed how they met. The spark between the farmer’s son and Fritsche was not on the program “Bauer, single, sucht…”, which Marco Fritsche moderates, but on Facebook. “I wrote to him and invited him to lasagna. We’ve been together ever since,” says Wick, adding with a laugh: “The lasagne was burned.”

But August Wick was lucky. Fritsche adds: “I then said that if it hadn’t been him, I might have complained regarding the lasagne.” But he liked Wick so much that he ate the lasagna anyway. “She might have been even more burnt and I would have pushed her down somehow,” Fritsche said with a laugh.
They already knew who the other person was before their first date. The two have mutual friends but have never met each other. “I always knew that he existed and he knew that I existed, but the right moment was just missing,” explains Fritsche. In the end there was a happy ending anyway. Marco Fritsche’s conclusion: “This lasagne was worth it.” (bsn)
