Various Spanish dioceses they offer courses to their faithful to instruct them to read well at mass. The initiative was launched five years ago by the journalist and radio and television broadcaster Ángel Manuel Pérez, who has designed an intensive practical training of three and a half hours that parishioners from numerous ecclesiastical provinces have already received.

“I teach the students the management of the spoken voice and that they truly proclaim the word of God. I also offer keys to overcoming stage fright,” she explained.

“I use the first hour and a half to relax the students, they arrive very afraid and insecure. Little by little they lose their fear in a relaxed atmosphere in the class. In short: I give them practical and easy advice so that use them in your life as readers in the Eucharist. The result is being very positive, I am going to more and more Archdioceses and Dioceses throughout Spain. They also ask me for courses from South America,” he added.

All of this is collected in webwhich offers more information regarding these unique training courses with which the collaboration of those who participate in Catholic masses is “professionalized” with the notions of an expert in locution.

So far they have received lessons of Angel Manuel faithful of Madrid, Sevilla, Toledo, CuencaSigüenza-Guadalajara, Alcala de Henares, Cadiz y Getafe.

“In May I will be in Madrid, Getafe, Algeciras and Seville; and in June in Toledo, Madrid, Cuenca and Seville. New season starts in September until June of next year”, detailed this trainer who fondly recalled that “on one occasion a reader began to cry in the middle of class when reading, because of the emotion it produced in him” and encouraged him to avoid it and make himself understood .

“Many people who come to the courses and did not dare to go out to the ambo and now do so happily and normally, which makes me very happy, I insist a lot that the Church needs us all”settled.
