A request to withdraw Kinder products from Lebanon…with “maximum speed”!

Health Minister Firas Abyad sent a letter to Economy Minister Amin Salam regarding “withdrawing Ferrero’s goods from the Lebanese market.”

The text of the book stated: “With reference to the subject, and following the giant Ferrero company in the field of food industries admitted in a statement that there were “internal loopholes,” and following stopping the work of a subsidiary factory that produces “Kinder” chocolate in Belgium, following its products were suspected of causing salmonella infections, and following In the past few days, the Italian company withdrew Kinder chocolate products in the markets of several European countries (France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden and the Netherlands), in the United States, and many Arab countries (Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman…) due to concerns regarding the products of Made in its Belgian factory in Arlon, suspected to be the source of salmonella outbreaks.

He added, “Therefore, we ask you to instruct those who need to withdraw this product from the Lebanese market as quickly as possible in order to preserve public health, and we thank you for your cooperation.”
