  • The playoff final series between the ZSC Lions and Zug begins on Easter Monday.

  • The tickets for the final series were gone in no time.

  • The frustration was particularly great among the supporters of the ZSC-Lions. Sometimes we waited more than two hours.

As great as the ZSC fans’ joy at getting into the playoff final on Thursday evening may have been, it quickly gave way to great frustration the day following. The best-of-7 series once morest defending champions Zug begins on Easter Monday, and the first home game in the Hallenstadion is on the program on Wednesday. The tickets for the big hit should be available in the online shop from Friday at 2 p.m. However, several news scouts contacted 20 minutes in the course of the followingnoon and complained regarding the long waiting times.

“I’ve been on hold for over two hours,” wrote a News Scout. He adds: “You have to wait less in front of the Gotthard.” There were also complaints on social media: “How is that possible in 2022? Just a bit of traffic and immediately overloaded? Change providers! Weak.” Another user writes: “ZSC’s back office is regarding as strong as Ambri.”

With 3367 people in the waiting room

When 20 minutes visits the ticket portal, a large queue is displayed. Almost 3,400 ZSC supporters are said to be still waiting for a ticket an hour and a half following it was activated. It says: “The booking system is currently busy. Please wait a moment. Please do not cancel this process and do not start the booking system once more.» When asked, the ZSC said that they were currently trying to clarify the situation.

The rush for the final tickets was also great for the opponent EV Zug. But in Central Switzerland, the sales process seemed to have gone much less smoothly. The stadium was sold out in no time. A press release from the club states: “The spectator capacity in the Bossard Arena is far from sufficient.” They now want to offer as many fans as possible a great experience with a public viewing. The public viewing takes place directly in front of the stadium on Arena Square.
