Our consultant Alex Teklak prefaces the Belgian Cup final.
Monday’s game promises to be exciting. The two teams recently faced each other in a tense meeting, dominated by Anderlecht but won by La Gantoise (1-0).
Will the Cup final be a copy of the March 20 encounter or will we witness a surprise? Alex Teklak offers food for thought a few days before one of the peaks of the season.
1. What lessons can Anderlecht and La Gantoise learn from their last confrontation?
“Anderlecht played well on the La Gantoise pitch. We must not forget that because without superb action, we would have had a completely different speech. All the elements of this phase aligned to generate a superb goal. It would have also might have fallen on the Brussels side. It is therefore difficult to say that Anderlecht will have to change their tune or make big changes. Then there will be a big difference: The Gantoise was playing at home. This creates increased motivation “, more eye-catching players. Success is often caused by these elements. The Buffalos seemed to me more determined. The stakes were also higher for them.”
