Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Ministry of Health announced, today (Friday), the controls for implementing the decision of government doctors to work in the private health sector, in an optimal manner that achieves integration between the public and private sectors.
This came following the Cabinet approved setting controls to regulate the work of government health practitioners outside official working hours in the health sector.
The ministry said that it receives requests from private health authorities and organizes the approval of government health practitioners’ work agencies through a unified electronic system.
The Ministry of Health clarified the conditions for the work of governmental health practitioners, including that the applicant should be a Saudi national, be a consultant, hold a license to practice the profession, have two years of experience in health professional work as a practicing consultant, and a valid registration with the Saudi Commission for Medical Specialties with obtaining a job performance evaluation within the two years The last two, and approval of declarations related to work in private health institutions outside official working hours, and a commitment not to work in private health institutions during working hours at the government health authorities in which he works.
