A Kosovar wanted by the police and banned from entering Switzerland was seriously injured by a car while walking at night on the A1, near Baden (AG).

Strange accident around 2:30 am, in the night from Thursday to Friday on the A1 motorway, near Baden. A 34-year-old man, who was walking along the highway, was hit by a motorist on the Baden-Ouest exit lane. The pedestrian was seriously injured and rushed to hospital.
He is a Kosovar wanted by the police, without a fixed address and who was the subject of a ban on entering Switzerland, the Aargau cantonal police said in a statement on Friday. He had been spotted half an hour before the accident at a gas station, due to an altercation. He had run away. But he would have called someone in the meantime to pick him up, according to the police.
As for the driver who hit him, a 32-year-old woman, she escaped with a great fright. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
