“In Andreas Puelacher, we have taken responsibility for an experienced and technically extremely competent trainer who has proven his skills over many years,” said DSV Alpine boss Wolfgang Maier.
In addition, the technical team around slalom specialist Dürr and talent Emma Aicher will be led by the previous assistant coach Markus Lenz, whose “boss” Georg Harzl will probably return to the ÖSV.
With the replacement of the key positions “we want to give new impetus to get the team back on the road to success in the years to come,” said Maier.

Puelacher has worked for the ÖSV for the past twelve years. Previously, he worked in various positions at the Swiss federation, including as technical coach for the women’s team. It is important to “develop the potential of German women as best as possible,” he said, and the aim is “to establish more female athletes among the best in the world.”
