Dieter Bohlen (68) was actually the face of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. However, he had to vacate his position as chief judge following last season. After his exit, Thomas Anders (59) of all people is allowed to sit at the jury desk on Saturday.
The former Modern Talking singer is known to have fallen out with his ex-bandmate and DSDS maker Dieter Bohlen. The two musicians have not been able to speak to each other for years – now Anders is a guest on the RTL show. Is that supposed to be a stab once morest planks?

He was thrown out by the creators of the casting show at the beginning of the year and replaced with Florian Silbereisen (40). Since the start of the season, the hit king and his jury colleagues Ilse DeLange (44) and Toby Gad (54) have been heavily criticized: Many DSDS fans want Bohlen back. Should Thomas Anders fix it now?
The singer will support the three judges with his expertise during the first upcoming live show. “As a world star, Thomas is really competent,” Silbereisen is quoted as saying by the “Bild” newspaper. “He did what all DSDS candidates dream of: he really became a superstar!” For the remaining candidates of the RTL program, Anders might be the perfect role model.

But why is the jury expanded for the live shows? Silbereisen on this: “I would have liked the juries in the live shows to consist of four members once more, like in the early days of DSDS. And this wish is now being fulfilled with changing guest judges.” However, it is not yet known who else will be there apart from Anders. (bang)
