Bayern Munich goalkeeper and CEO Oliver Kahn announced that striker Robert Lewandowski will stay for another season.
The Polish striker had been linked with joining Barcelona, starting next season, in light of the Catalan club’s need for the veteran player.
But according to what Oliver said, the Bavarian club is happy with Lewandowski’s presence in the team, and does not see it right to forfeit a striker who guarantees him many goals in the season.

Kahn spoke before his team’s match once morest Villarreal, which ended in a positive draw and the German club’s exclusion from the European Champions League.
“We definitely have Robert with us for another season,” the former goalkeeper said. “We know what we’re going to do with him and are comfortable with that.”
And regarding the news spread regarding the departure of his striker, he explained: “There is clearly a competition there over who will tell the most illogical story regarding Robert Lewandowski, and those conversations will continue.”
And he concluded regarding Robert Lewandowski’s continuation with the team: “We are not crazy to discuss now the transfer of a player who scores between 30 and 40 goals with us every season.”
It is worth noting that Bayern Munich is preparing to face Armenia Bielefeld in the 30th round of the German Bundesliga next Sunday.
