Gold prices in evening trading rise by 8 pounds, and 21 karat by 1028 pounds

Gold prices rose today in Egypt by 8 pounds in evening trading, to record 21 karat gold, which is the best seller in Egypt, at 1028 pounds per gram, with the increase in the price of gold on global stock exchanges and the movement of the dollar price in the Egyptian market, and here are the details of gold prices today in Egypt.

And gold rose in spot transactions 0.6% to 1958.20 dollars an ounce, following hitting its highest level in more than two weeks at 1958.96 dollars, and US gold futures rose 0.8% to 1961.70 dollars. The dollar index fell 0.2%, which made bullion less expensive for holders of other currencies.

The Russian Central announced that it would reduce the share of the US dollar in its gold and foreign exchange reserves to 10.9% over the six months to January 1, before Western sanctions froze nearly half of the country’s reserves.

Western sanctions deprived Russia of access to 300 billion dollars of its reserves of gold and foreign exchange amounting to 640 billion dollars before the implementation of those sanctions. And the Russian Central cut the interest rate last week to 17%, indicating that it may take more interest-cutting decisions in the future.
