Radisson Hotel Group continues its plan for growth and development in Africa in 2022 with five new hotel signings concluded on the continent so far this year, adding nearly 600 rooms to its portfolio. Radisson Hotel Addis Ababa Bole, Ethiopia
Currently under construction, the Radisson Hotel Addis Ababa Bole is set to open its doors this summer 2023 and will be the first Radisson-branded hotel in East Africa. The property is located 1.8 km from Bole International Airport, Africa’s third largest airport hub, home to Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest airline, as well as the recently renovated terminal. The hotel is also adjacent to the country’s new national stadium which is still under construction.
Radisson Resort Dakar Saly, Senegal
The property located in Saly, a popular resort in Senegal and the sub-Saharan region, will be the first Radisson resort in Africa and the second Radisson-branded property in Senegal when it opens in 2024. Saly is the second tourist destination the most popular in the country following Dakar and includes a wide range of leisure facilities. The resort offers easy access to Dakar’s Blaise Diagne International Airport, the capital city center and the community of Diamniadio via a brand new highway.
Radisson Hotel Sfax, Tunisia
The hotel, comprised of standard rooms and suites of all grades (Junior to Presidential), will be the city’s first and only internationally branded upscale hotel, meeting government, corporate and MICE demand in local and wider areas. Open this second quarter of 2022, the Radisson Hotel Sfax Tunisia will be located in the city center, close to the port of Sfax, the most important commercial port in the country, and 20 minutes by car from the international airport of Sfax- Thyna, which serves the entire region.
