The British mining investment company, Altus Strategies Plc announced on Tuesday that it had obtained a 10-year exploitation license for its Agdz copper-silver project in Morocco, located 14 km south-west of the copper mine. silver from Bou Skour in the eastern Anti-Atlas.
Steven Poulton, Managing Director of Altus, said: “The 10-year license provides long-term security of tenure for Agdz, where the company has discovered a number of significant copper and silver prospects. Agdz is one of 14 Moroccan projects to be sold by Altus to Eastinco subject to its proposed listing on the London Stock Exchange. Altus will own royalties on all Moroccan projects, a royalty on a tantalum asset in Rwanda as well as 25% of Eastinco’s expanded share capital with warrants to purchase up to an additional 10%. »

The Moroccan portfolio d’Altus is held by its wholly owned subsidiary Aterian Resources Ltd, which in turn is subject to a potential sale and royalty generation transaction with Eastinco Mining and Exploration PLC. The transaction remains subject to Eastinco’s completion of its offer to be listed on the London Stock Exchange. The transaction will generate 14 new royalties for Altus in Morocco and one in Rwanda.
