JAKARTA – YouTuber Reza Arap responding to a netizen’s criticism who asked him to respect the fasting month. This criticism was made by the netizen following Arap uploaded a photo of the food on social media.

Regarding this criticism, Reza Arap has his own answer. Wendy Walters’ husband asserts that he has the right to upload anything on his personal Instagram account.

“Appreciating those of you who fast not from me” post It’s a story. After all, that’s my right. Sorry not sorry, do not forget to appreciate also those who do not fast. You are not the main character in this case, “he said.

The upload of the account was then widely commented on by netizens. Most of them think that Reza Arap’s cheesy answer is reasonable. “Sorry to saybut sometimes they just ask other people to be tolerant without wanting to do the same,” said the account @aug*rilu*.

The netizen added that sometimes they have to buy food outside secretly for fear of being the center of attention. “I feel like a criminal, I swear!” he added.

On the other hand, the @Z_a*ras*i account said, “The position is, Arap is not Islam like that. You’ve just seen the story of people updating food, it’s already tempting. How are you when you walk in non-Muslim settlements in the month of Ramadan? You want to be appreciated too?”

The owner of the real name Reza Oktovian was born to parents of different religions. His mother is a Muslim, while his father who left him as a child is a Protestant Christian.

Even though he grew up with Islam, the YouTuber admitted that he had never practiced this faith. In fact, he is closer to his father’s religion because he studied at a Christian school.

After searching for faith, Reza Arap finally chose Buddhism as his religion. This was confirmed by his wife in his upload on Instagram. “He has embraced Buddhism for a long time. Legitimate in the eyes of religion and law,” he said.
