The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is a wireless gaming headset with up to 300 hours of battery life. It is now available for sale in France, at a price in line with its proposal.
Playing with a wireless headset on your head is synonymous with great freedom of movement, but it also requires keeping an eye on the level of charge of the accessory. The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless aims to put a little more peace in the minds of gamers, by displaying an autonomy that goes up to 300 hours. This is an unprecedented proposition in the field of gaming peripherals.
300 hours of autonomy, but not only
This wireless headset also displays the particularity of supporting le DTS Headphone:Xa sound-enhancing technology designed to promote immersion through a 3D sound environment. To this are added 50mm headphones with neodymium magnetscustom-designed by HyperX, a Discord- and TeamSpeak-certified detachable noise-canceling microphone and 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity displaying a range of up to 20 meters. The Cloud Alpha Wireless is compatible with the NGENUITY software from HyperX : this allows you to check the autonomy of the battery and to adjust certain functions of the headphones, in particular by means of an equalizer.
On the aesthetic side, the accessory looks a lot like the Cloud Alpha, which is the wired alternative. It features an aluminum frame, adjustable headband, and soft leatherette earpads padded with memory foam. Finally, the headset is recharged via a USB Type-C connection and it weighs 335 grams when the microphone is attached.

The Cloud Alpha Wireless is available now from most gaming peripheral retailers. Its price is rather high since it is 229,99 euros : the very great autonomy of the helmet is one of the reasons which explain this observation. If this price is a little too high for you, but you are interested in the aesthetics of the helmet, you can always turn to the wired Cloud Alpha, which costs less than 100 euros.
