The parents of an 8-year-old girl had the shock of their lives. The minor had to be treated for intense stomach pains following having consumed anticuchos in an itinerant stand in the commune of Estación Central, in Chile. According to investigations, the food had a dog chip.
The mayor of the commune, Felipe Muñoz, was the one who shared the information regarding the condition of the 8-year-old girl, according to El Mostrador. After knowing the fact and locating the causes of evil, the councilor of the district, Michelle Tabilo, made the complaint.

After the unfortunate event, the authorities began a control process in the sector and received help from the Health personnel of the Metropolitan region. After analyzing the work of selling street food, they determined that they were operating illegally.
“The complaint was made by the councilor. We are in a frequent control, with confiscation of the cars that are in circulation “Munoz commented. “We believe that our obligation is to be able to make sure of that and to be permanently supervising what is being sold on the streets today”added
For his part, Tabilo indicated that “On Sunday I went to the Quemchi fair, which is in Villa Francia, and a landlady who sold salads told me that a friend of hers had gone to Meiggs, to the part that belongs to Central Station, and had consumed an anticucho with the daughter”.
Regarding the procedure for the girl, the councilor indicated that “First they did a scanner, the one that threw the chip, but the girl began to feel bad and they had to remove the chip”.
