“Russia will not shut itself off from the world in revenge on idiots.” Medvedev says autarky should not be expected – Vlast – News of St. Petersburg

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will not close itself off from the world. According to him, autarky (a closed system), including in the field of culture, should not be expected: the Russian Federation has ties with many countries.

“Russia will not shut itself off from the world in revenge on idiots. No autarky, including in the field of culture, should be expected. We have a busy agenda with the countries of the CIS, BRICS, Latin America and Africa. These states are home to billions of well-adjusted people who value, love and wait for us. Ultra-modern museums of contemporary art in the Middle East and Southeast Asia have been opened to interact with them,” Medvedev wrote on April 11 in his Telegram channel.

He expressed the hope that the authorities and specialized organizations of the above-mentioned countries will help young representatives of creative professions from Russia “not to fall out of the international clip.”
