The Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ) announces the arrival of new partners to present a renewed culinary offer.
The MNBAQ has signed an agreement to entrust the management of the restaurant in the Pierre Lassonde pavilion to the Je Reçois Group. Chef Laurent Godbout will sign the restaurant’s menu.
“The objective of this partnership is to meet the needs and expectations of the Museum’s multiple clienteles,” says Sophie Lemelin, director of communications and marketing at the MNBAQ. It is a tailor-made alliance between an experienced group, recognized for implementing the best practices in its field, and a great chef, whose signature is distinctive.”
Café Quebecor by Laurent Godbout
As of April 26, the Café Quebecor by Laurent Godbout will welcome visitors to the Museum as well as passing customers. The chef will offer an evolving menu, according to the seasons, the arrivals and the themes of the Museum’s exhibitions in the glazed area of the pavilion.
The Quebec company Le Groupe Je Reçois will meet all culinary needs with regard to the tailor-made planning of events held at the Museum.
The Je Reçois Group will also oversee the operation of the counter Vitality at the Pierre Lassonde pavilion, which offers specialty coffees and high-quality fresh products to take away or eat in, as well as all the operational aspects of the Quebecor Coffee by Laurent Godbout.
In addition, as the new manager of the MNBAQ’s culinary offer, Le Groupe Je Reçois will participate, in collaboration with the Museum team, in the development of the catering concept planned for the future Espace Riopelle, which is to open its doors to the end of 2025. The restaurant in the central pavilion, temporarily closed, will move to these new spaces.
