The reservoirs of the main dams in the Kingdom reached on April 11, 2022, more than 5.52 billion cubic meters (m3), i.e. a filling rate of 34.3%, according to the Ministry of Equipment and Water. .

On the same date last year, dam reserves accumulated more than 8.19 billion m3, representing a filling rate of 50.8%, the ministry said in a document on the daily situation of the main large dams. of the Kingdom.

In detail, the Alwahda dam displays the largest reservoir with a volume reaching more than 2.03 billion m3 and a filling rate of 57.7%, once morest 74.5%, a year earlier.

The Idriss 1st dam comes in second place with a reservoir of 508.6 million m3, ie a filling rate of 45% once morest 79% at the same date last year (892 million m3).

With a filling rate of 68.1%, the Oued El Makhazine dam is ranked third thanks to a reservoir of 458.5 million m3.
