The Greens politician wrote on Monday followingnoon (April 11) that she made the decision because of the political pressure and wanted to lose her job. The family minister was criticized for a four-week vacation in France following the flood disaster in the Ahr Valley in July 2021. At that time she was still Minister of the Environment for the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
