Shinsung ENG to introduce next-generation solar module with new technology

Shinsung ENG announced on the 11th that it will participate in the ’19th International Green Energy Expo’ held at EXCO in Daegu from the 13th to the 15th.

The International Green Energy Expo is the largest renewable energy exhibition in Korea, hosted by Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do, and hosted by the Korea Photovoltaic Industry Association and Korea Renewable Energy Association. We are celebrating our 19th anniversary this year. Shinsung ENG plans to show off market differentiation with advanced technology from high-output solar modules to building-integrated photovoltaic power generation facilities.

Shinsung ENG will show advanced high-power solar modules at this exhibition. The 595W double-sided solar module applied with M10, a large-area solar cell, is a product that generates power from both the front and rear. Additional power can be generated through light scattered in the air or light reflected from the rear floor. In particular, Shinsung ENG caught two rabbits by applying a transparent material to the back sheet for solar modules to increase light transmittance and rear power generation.

N-type solar modules, considered as next-generation technologies, will also be exhibited. It boasts a high output of 620W, and since two-sided power generation is possible, the output can be higher depending on the environment. Although the manufacturing process of the N-type solar module is more difficult than that of the existing solar module, the output is 3~4% higher.

An official from Shinsung ENG said, “Solar power generation can utilize idle land and the operation rate is high during peak power hours, so combining it with a battery can solve the problem of power supply and demand.” We will work hard to ensure that it can be used safely.”
