Al-Marsad newspaper: On Sunday evening, businessman Abdullah Al-Fawzan narrated the details of the story of the establishment of his family’s huge wealth through his father and uncle, through a “grocery” and “taxi.”
Al-Fawzan explained in his interview with the “Al-Liwan” program on the “Rotana Khaleejia” channel, that his father, Abdul Latif Al-Fawzan, and his uncle, Muhammad Al-Fawzan, worked together in a grocery and taxi in 1957, and with persistence and effort, they became a larger capital.
The businessman noted that his father and uncle changed activities in the mid-sixties; His father established building materials, while the exchange was under the management of his uncle, pointing out that the qualitative boom occurred following oil in 1973.
Al-Fawzan added that there was a qualitative leap in the group headed at the time by his father and uncle by virtue of its specialization in construction due to the construction boom in the Kingdom, which was at the end of the seventies.
