The winter landscapes are slowly fading before the dawning spring. And in Montana, that means one thing, fly fishing season can begin. In the gorges of the Gallatin River, we meet the first amateurs already in the water. Like Michael Greener, he started at the age of 7 with his parents. And he’s never really stopped fishing since. “When you catch a fish, it’s beautiful. It has reflections of all colors, never exactly the same. So you won’t get the same catch twice. Anyway, whether it bites or not, it is almost a moment of meditation. Being outdoors in Montana is bound to be a beautiful day,” he said.
