Mr. An, an excavator, said, “In the early days, my father worked as a policeman in this place. During the Japanese occupation era, because the Japanese were grabbing the beach from this place at that time, it was too late to bury some things along the road.”
It took me 2 years to apply for excavation in order to fulfill my father’s last wish. My father worked as a police officer in Zhiben, Taitung during the Japanese occupation. During a serious illness, I was disappointed. He was carefully taken care of by the local residents, so he had been entrusted before his death that some of the relics dug up should be sold back to the village.
Mr. An, an excavator, said, “The detectives all have iron reactions, but there seems to be no way to say that this is a weapon, and there is no way to tell whether it is copper or gold.”
It was only halfway through the excavation that it was discovered that this piece of land was the traditional domain of the Kadadibu tribe.
